The USQF will provide a widely accepted tool to address the needs of lifelong learners and the labor market.

The United States does not have a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) currently. The development of a USQF will assist with recognition, mobility, and interoperability by helping stakeholders understand new and existing qualifications. It will contribute to workforce development and continued education accessibility.
