What is the USQF?
The USQF is a classification system of the US educational system. It is designed as a description of how qualifications connect, build upon other qualifications, and lead to different qualifications. Much of the work that has come before this current effort has focused on (A) skill-based credentials, i.e., professional certificates, vocational qualifications, or (B) higher educational credentials. The USQF seeks to incorporate these two types of systems into one schema.
How are you organized?
The USQF is a non-profit entity governed by a Board of Directors. An Advisory Council was organized in 2022 that includes relevant stakeholders divided into various working groups.
